dc.descriptionSignals of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) are unwanted electromagnetic emissions that degrade a receiver's performance, reducing the quality of service (QoS) of communications and decreasing the general system performance. Considering the increasing number of users in terrestrial and space applications and the fact that the Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum is a limited resource shared by numerous systems, the high number of detected occurrences of human-made RFI increases. Thus, many communication systems, including wireless communication, suffer from human-made RFI. Human-made RFI can be classified under either unintentional or intentional interference acts, such as jamming.
