Maintaining the tooth in the arch for as long as possible is a primary concern in pediatric dentistry. Accordingly, pulpectomy is the best choice to treat primary teeth with irreversible pulpitis or necrosis.(3) The main goal of endodontic treatment is elimination of microorganisms from the root canal system. This could be achieved through chemo-mechanical removal of vital tissues, residual necrotic material, infected dentine and debris. This makes the elimination of organic debris by cleaning and shaping is one of the most important steps in a successful pulpectomy procedure. (4)
